Rainford EMC Systems has been selected as the anechoic and shielded chamber provider for TRaC's all new, purpose built, North West compliance laboratory.
It will soon be the largest test and certification laboratory in the North West of England, representing an investment in excess of £1M.
The new facility will initially house;
Two 3m metre (test distance) CISPR/FCC compliant EMC emissions/immunity chambers (ALSE);
5x10 metre CISPR/FCC/AZ/NZS compliant radio test chamber;
8x5 metre EN61000-4-3 EMC immunity chamber;
5x3 metre shielded EMC chamber;

Rainford EMC Systems have expanded and enhanced their Sales & Marketing team by appointing a new Internal Sales Engineer.

Likely to be degree qualified with engineering background in multidisciplinary projects. To manage turnkey design & build RF shielding and EMC projects up to £2M in the UK and aboard. Thorn Lighting Choose Rainford EMC Systems

As part of a £28 million investment Thorn Lighting have moved to a new facility in Spennymoor, UK.
The new 40.000sq.m facility will open officially in February 2009 and production will be transferred from their existing site. Within this new state of the art facility Thorn have included a £1.3 million investment in a new training centre and have provided an up to date test facility for their products.

As part of a £1m investment programme, RFI Global Services Ltd has moved from its Radio Performance and EMC Laboratory to a new state-of-the-art facility in Basingstoke, UK. Rainford EMC Systems was chosen as the hybrid and anechoic chamber supplier for the laboratory.
The new 1100 sqm facility offers state-of-the-art, fully automated capabilities allowing RFI to improve efficiency and reduce time to market for their customer’s products.
